CQ「かっこいい寄付とかっこ悪い寄付ってなんだ？」

かっこいい寄付とは、寄付する側も寄付される側が「コミュニケーションを取れる」、気持ち良くできる寄付。

 

かっこ悪い寄付とは、「申し訳ないけれど」「応援してください、助けてください」という姿勢の寄付。「かわいそう」という気持ちや義務感でする寄付。

 

国際協力の分野では、あえて悲惨な状況の写真や映像を報道して寄付を募る場合もあるが、（もちろんそのような写真や映像は現実を写しているのだけれど）必要以上に、自分の組織や自分のお客様（生活水準を向上させたい人）の弱さをアピールするのは、かっこわるい。

 

むしろ、寄付される側は、「いただいた寄付は責任を持って、意味のある活動に使っていきます！私たちはこんな世界を作っていきます。」と断言できる、前向きな姿勢が大切。

 

鵜尾さんがおっしゃるには、「FUNDRAISING=どうやってお金を集めるかではなく×、共感を広める機会」。たとえお金を集めることにつながらなかったとしても、１人でも多くの人に自分の活動について伝える「チャンス」だと捉え、「お金集め」だけでなく、その出会いから発生する可能性を見ること。寄付へのリターンとして、「（あい、いき、うちわ、えん、おもしろさや恩返しというキーワードに代表される）満足」を意識すること。これがかっこいい寄付との関わり方だ。

 

RQ「コンサルティングをするときに、大切な姿勢は？」

鵜尾さんは、NPOのコンサルティングを通じて、【相手の団体のキャパシティービルディング】に力をいれていることをお話してくださいました。まず、Fundraisingには大きく３つの問題と取り組み方がある。

 

１）   政策的課題（税制含む）

２）   資金と情報の仲介機能不足　ex) Charity Platform, Say Love Campaign

３）   個々のNPOのファンドレイズ力　←鵜尾さんは今まであまり取り組まれてこまかった、３）に着目されています☆

 

Fundraisingの代行事業も一つの方法だが、それではNPO自体が育たないということから自らNPOのコンサルティングをし、Fundraisinｇ協会を設立し、認定ファンドレイザーの資格を作り、寄付の成功体験を日本で作っていかれています。

 

そんな鵜尾さんとお話していて、一つ一つのコメントに丁寧に答えてくださり、小さなことも聞き逃さない姿勢、NPOのコンサルティングをする際には「こうすればよいよ！」という大きなプランを示すのではなく、その時にNPOが発する「う～ん。」という表情やコメントに敏感に、「そうはいっても、こういうことが難しいんだよね。」ときちんとそれぞれのNPOのリアリティーと寄り添い、受け入れ、相手の目線から状況を見ていること、がすごく印象に残りました。

 

本物のコンサルティングとは、「答え・ソリューション」を提供するのではなく、相手と一緒に目標を達成するために、相手と同じチームに入ること、と学びました。

That the pilots did NOT have this conversation suggests something else was wrong. But it could very easily be that one or both of the pilots was tired. Or that they were too proud to admit to themselves that they (together) were making an error. Or that (as sometimes happens) they were both overconfident that they could correct it. These are human traits, and are common to a lot of aviation mishaps. A lot of pilots probably should execute "go-arounds" more often than they do, just to be safe, but they go ahead and try to stick the landing anyway, because they're experienced, they know the plane, and they know the runway.
