こんにちは、あーちゃんこと平田彩恵です☆
現在、私はNPO法人フローレンスでインターン生として勉強させていただいています。
担当は、主にソーシャルプロモーションと呼ばれる広報です。

フローレンスで発行していメールマガジンで、フローレンスを知っている人にソーシャルベンチャーとはどんなものなのかを知ってもらいたい！という思いから「ソーシャルベンチャーの現場から」というコラムを掲載させていただいていますので、そのコラムを、私の活動の一環として井上研究会のホームページでもご紹介します。

インターン生平田による、ソーシャルベンチャーレポート。
大学での学びを活かして、ソーシャルベンチャーとしてのフローレンスについて、ご説明できたらと思います。

そもそも、フローレンスはソーシャルベンチャーだ、とか、駒崎は社会起業家だ、と世間で言われていますが、　とはいえ、それって一体何？？と思われる方も　少なくないと思います。

でも、社会起業家って、最近よく耳にするし、ちょっと興味はあるかも…という方のために！インターン生平田が、ソーシャルベンチャーの実務の現場から、みなさまに旬な社会起業情報をお届けしてまいります。

記念すべき第0回目は、プログラムのご紹介と、社会起業家とは何か、ということについて簡単に触れたと思います。

社会起業とは、間単に言ってしまえば、【事業によって社会問題を解決しようとすること】です。例えば、フローレンスであれば病児保育という問題を、【非施設共済型】という新しいモデルによって解決に導こうとしています。

フローレンスはNPOとして活動していますが、社会起業には、NPOとしてアプローチする人々もいれば、株式会社として取り組む人、あるいは、個人で活動している人もいます。

社会起業とは、よりよい社会を作ろうという、意気込みを持った個人の想いから始まっていることだけは確かなことでしょう。

I would think that it would appeal to, and be more in the interests of, working-class Republicans than the current party which is basically controlled by the interests of the wealthy and big business and keeps conservatives on side by throwing them the occasional bone on issues such as abortion.
